We believe that every person should devote some of his time to helping the less fortunate. In which way? We set up Tennis for Africa as we know sport well and specifically tennis. Through the association we have realized social initiatives and events over the time to support various projects developed in Africa by both our association and the Community of Sant'Egidio. The association is made up of practitioners from several sectors, and each member works as a volunteer.

With a degree in geological sciences, Lorenzo Turchi works as a freelancer supporting the public administrations for territorial data management. Co-founder of Tennis for Africa, he is the chairman of the association since 2009.

With a double degree in geological sciences and natural sciences, Marco Majrani is a photographer and journalist and works as a freelancer. Co-founder of Tennis for Africa, Marco was the chairman of Tennis for Africa between 1988 to 2008.

Graduate in foreign languages, Tania works at an Italian company in the insurance sector. She plays the role of general secretary since 1988.
