7th  TENNIS DAY FOR AFRICA

The 7th Tennis Day for Africa closed successfully with David Nalbandian, Felix Mantilla, Mariano Zabaleta, Flavio Saretta, Todd Woodbridge, Nicolas Lapentti, Davide Sanguinetti, Myke and Bob Bryan and a series of sport initatives for involving the spectators during the day. The event took place in only one day, May 2 2004 with a mixed charity double competition open to all club players, small tournaments for children with promotional tennis tests open to everybody. Each event was organized to benefit the humanitarian projects in Africa. The goal of this year is the fundraising for: # adopting at distance African children; # promoting the "Tennis for Africa Twinning Program" (project to carry out new twinnings among African tennis schools and European/North American clubs) # health program to help  people affected by HIV AIDS in Mozambique.

EVENING CHARITY PARTY FOR AFRICA; MAY 1 2004, 10.00 pm; DUE PONTI SPORTING CLUB ROME: a new evening party was organized on Sunday May 1 with the presence of VIP and tennis players. The new event was carried out with the support of the brothers  Emanuele e Pietro Tornabuoni, owners of the club.

TENNIS FOR AFRICA AT THE TELECOM ITALIA MASTERS ROMA 2004

Tennis for Africa has been admitted inside the TELECOM ITALIA MASTERS ROMA venue and is planning to organize the fundraising with a booth and promotional activities involving tennis players during the two weeks of the tournament. From May 2 the charity auctions of Tennis for Africa will start on Internet, hosted on eBay.it; fans worldwide can bid on several auction items donated by the palyers during the tournament.
