Kevin Anderson ambassador of Tennis for Africa

Kevin Anderson is the ambassador of Tennis for Africa since 2016. Born in 1986, he became the top-ranked male South African player in 2008, achieving his career-high ranking of World No. 10 in October 2015. He is the first South African to be ranked in the top 10 since Wayne Ferreira was No. 10 on May 1997. Anderson made his Grand Slam final debut at the 2017 US Open, where he lost to Rafael Nadal.

His endorsement arrives in a significant moment for Tennis for Africa, with the organization of the first tennis camps for two young people coming from Tanzania.

The activity started in June 2017 after the press conference attended by Keivn in Rome during the Masters 1000 in Rome last May 2017.
